Isidora Tourni

Computer Science PhD from Boston University (2023) with foundational degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. 10+ years of expertise spanning both academia and industry, including work at leading technology companies like Nokia, Electronic Arts, Google, and SandboxAQ. My research focused on applied Machine Learning and multilingual/multimodal AI systems, advancing how AI handles diverse languages, modalities, and limited-resource scenarios. After years in academic research, I shifted to building production AI systems that solve real business problems-bringing the rigor of research-grade ML to fast-moving commercial environments. From AI agents to full-stack deployment, I bridge the gap between what's theoretically possible and what actually ships to users. Fluent in Greek, English, and German.
